Association membership. Since its foundation in 2005, I have been actively involved in Mediterranean Editors and Translators (MET), an association whose focus is largely scientific and academic publishing. A former Training Chairperson, I currently contribute to MET as a member of the annual conference content team focus and in creating content for its resources site for members (The Hive). I also implement autonomous training and research projects, among them, translation revision, the issue of handling quotations in translation, plagiarism and LaTex.

Interests. I enjoy walking in the hills or along the coast near my home, taking courses in art (drawing, watercolours and, most recently, acrylic) and gardening and DIY. I am an occasional choral singer, as I participate in MET's ad hoc choir, which performs once a year at the annual conference.
